This is my bonus son @froggy_luvs_u @mcps_md marching band showcase on Saturday was Spectacular. First post of more than one for sure. Theme was Punk’d! @einsteintmb did AMAZING today at the marching band showcase! It was an incredible afternoon of all the best things about music kids. Not to mention perfect weather too. Full stands, nearly 700 high school musicians and guard members. Spectacular!! Ok band nerds! This SATURDAY! MCPS marching band showcase starts at 11:30am in the AEHS stadium! Come out and cheer on the real winners at all those football games! AND the show will end with a mass band of nearly 700+ musicians! It’s going to be amazing! Thanks to the rain this season I have had make ups for make ups and this session was a game time “is it raining at your house? Not really let’s do it” because schedules were crazytown trying to make another make up work. So glad we did. I adore how these twins turned out! #truetolife #twinphotography #familyphotography #outtakesarethebesttakes No photoshoots on the calendar today because we were in St Mary’s for family weekend! Caught some D1 sailing action, explored the old cemetery, painted pumpkins, were whipped around by the wind on the first truly cold day in autumn, and had dinner on the water before heading home. #hawktoberfest @stmarysmd Still recovering from a whirlwind of a weekend with nibblings in town! We crammed a LOT into a short time together. Of course I brought my camera…this is my fav pic of our adventures. Seeing my niece as the awesome mom she is gives me such warm fuzzies. Always fun taking littles for the first metro trip, first Smithsonian, first panda sighting, and first football game! The one plus of all this rain is a lot of very cool mushrooms Is it the best band picture ever? No.
