Where my history degree and photography skills collide! I have a high resolution Epson photo scanner and am able to scan photos, negatives, and slides. From there I can sort and organize your images and offer a variety of photoshop levels. Your family snapshots from the 70’s and 80’s can be scanned and given some basic color correction. Sometimes an image has writing on the back – I can scan that too and add to the final digitized version.
Older, even antique, photos can be scanned and given more detailed photoshop attention to fix not just color and contrast but scratches, fold lines, dust, speckles, even some tears. The example to the left is from 1907.
Pricing is based on job and calculated by number of images to scan and level of photoshop wanted/needed. A large stack of photos from the 80’s might be $2/image while a small stack of antique photos could be $20/image or more. Volume discounts given happily.
Scanning is also not limited to photos and negatives!! Consider old news clippings, certificates, paperwork, etc. Projects could be an album made from all of your family’s photos interspersed with images of relevant documents. Or we could digitize all of grandma’s recipe cards and make multiple copies of a family cookbook in her handwriting. copies of a family cookbook in her handwriting.
